A message from Post Office Chief Executive, Nick Read
Coronavirus continues to challenge how we’re all living our lives right now. Not least, as we adjust to further national lockdowns or regional restrictions to help get the pandemic under control.
Throughout it all, Post Office has been there for communities across the zhptddz.com. An essential service our Postmasters and support teams have worked tirelessly to keep open and trading in over 90% of our network locations.
I want to say thank you to them for their energy and resilience since March. And to you, our customers, for continuing to use our services and abiding by social distancing.
Recent news gives us increased hope for the months ahead. But I’d ask you to keep up the resolve for now, wearing a mask and staying two metres apart in our branches. And please treat our colleagues there with respect as they provide the services you need in these difficult times.
While we’re working hard to keep products and services available, some may be impacted by changing retractions. Our support pages have more on the impact on specific products.
As we head into the Christmas period, our busiest time of year, branches will be very busy with more customers and social distancing still in place. Our advice is to post early if you can or visit at quieter times.
You can check our branch finder to see if your local branch opens early mornings, in the evening or at weekends. And our call centres are also staffed ready to help.
As we continue to support our Postmasters and our customers, please keep looking out for one another, follow the health and safety guidance and stay well. We’re stronger together.
Nick Read, Chief Executive of the Post Office
We're doing everything we can to keep our branches open and safe. However, there may be some changes to your local branch.
